We can’t wait to welcome you to our beautiful cabin in the scenic mountains of Garden Valley, Idaho. With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, our cabin comfortably accommodates up to 7 guests.

Located at the end of a private road, visitors are rarely seen, unless you count the dozens of wild animals nearby. Hike, hot spring, and hang out to your heart's content at the Elk Cottage.

Our cabin features a stunning wrap-around deck that provides breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and forest. You can often spot elk, deer, and turkeys visiting the area. Imagine enjoying your morning coffee or evening cocktail while taking in the beauty of the natural surroundings.

Where you’ll sleep:

The first bedroom features a cozy bunk bed with an additional twin bed, perfect for kids or friends. The second bedroom has a comfortable double bed, while the spacious master bedroom boasts a luxurious king-sized bed.

Inside, the cabin is equipped with a wood-burning fireplace that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for those chilly Idaho nights. Our guests can enjoy the modern amenities of a fully-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and a flat-screen TV.

Our cabin is located in a peaceful and quiet area, perfect for a relaxing getaway. However, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy nearby, including hiking, fishing, and skiing in the winter months.

Private Rates

We currently rent the property only to members of the first responder community. As a result, our nightly rates are lower than other vacation rental options. When you complete your booking request, we will ask for details about your service.

Nightly Rate

$150/night

  • This nightly rate, including weekends and holidays, is only for members of the first responder community. Anyone outside of this will be directed to book through our Airbnb listing at the going rate. We will ask you to verify at booking.

Cleaning Fee

$150/visit

  • Included in your rental is a non-refundable cleaning fee to ensure the property is returned to an ideal state for the next renters.

Pet Cleaning Fee

$75/visit

  • We welcome pets at the Elk Cottage, but due to the additional cleaning this requires, expect a pet cleaning fee.

Additional Information

Guest access

Basement access is limited to the laundry room only for guests. The garage and storage room are locked for owner access only. The rest of the place is yours to enjoy!
