House Rules
We hope that you create wonderful memories here. We put these house rules in place for your safety as well as ours. We truly appreciate your cooperation!
Please note that adhering to these rules is a requirement of the terms and conditions of our rental agreement. We reserve the right to evict any guests or visitors who refuse to follow these house rules. The violation of house rules may result in deductions from the security deposit or other penalties.
Ground Rules for Guests:
Cleanliness: Guests should not leave the listing in a state that requires excessive or deep cleaning (moldy dishes, soiled carpets, stains from pets, etc.). Cleaning fees are only meant to cover the cost of standard cleaning between reservations (laundry, vacuuming, etc.).
Trash: Guests should put their trash in designated trash receptacles and be mindful of excessive amounts of trash. Because this is a remote property, there is not trash service. Please take your trash with you when you leave.
Damage: Where guests cause damage that is beyond normal wear and tear, we expect you to inform us of the damage as soon as possible and work with us to find a reasonable solution. Guests are expected to pay reasonable requests for reimbursement if you’re responsible for damage, missing items, or unexpected cleaning costs.
Approved guests: Guests should respect the approved number of guests and should ask if you’re unsure about the rules for visitors. Disruptive gatherings are always prohibited.
Check-in time: Please respect the check-in window (listed below) and do not check in before or after the designated window without prior approval.
Checkout time: Guests should complete checkout, including key return, by the designated checkout time indicated on the reservation, and should not leave belongings at the listing past the designated checkout time for storage or later pickup without prior approval from the Host.
Smoking: Guests should not smoke inside. This includes the use of tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, etc.
Approvals for pets: Guests should not bring any more pets than are approved into a listing, or fail to inform us about any pets brought inside the listing. Note that service animals (not emotional support animals) are not considered pets, per law.
Noise: Guests should respect designated quiet hours and should not disturb the surrounding community with a disruptive level of noise (loud music, shouting, slamming doors, etc.).
Security Cameras: The exterior of the property is monitored by three security cameras. This is for your safety, the safety of your guests, and the maintenance of the property. The locations of the cameras are easily found. 1) Faces the back parking area behind the cabin. 2) Faces the main driveway. 3) Faces the front of the property, above the garage door. Tampering with the security cameras or restricting their view at any time will result in a $500 fine and your immediate removal from the property. There are no interior cameras on the premises.
Commercial film and photography: Guests should not participate in film or photography that is intended for commercial use or profit, without documented permission from the Host.
Additional Rules:
Check-in is at 3 pm. You have access to keys via the lockbox outside. A $100 charge will be added to your booking for lost or stolen keys.
Please park in the space behind the cabin or near the exterior shed. Important: No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed. The maximum capacity for the property is seven people. A $100 charge will be added for every extra guest.
Please be considerate of our neighbors. Quiet time is from 10 pm to 7 am. Please refrain from noise at that time. Additionally, you are surrounded by private property. Do not trespass.
No parties or large gatherings are allowed. While our home has accommodations for children, parents must not leave children unsupervised and are fully responsible for their safety at all times. Using glass outside is strictly forbidden for safety reasons.
There are wild animals all around the cabin. Please do not feed, pet or otherwise disturb the wildlife. Hunting or using a firearm on our property is illegal.
